RESPONDING TO LOCAL NEEDS.
Hurricane Helene highlighted WNC’s housing vulnerabilities, leaving a number of homes uninhabitable. The destruction created by the storm also demonstrated the need for increasing resilience within local communities: the opportunity to build new, environmentally sound, and quality attainable housing is truly extraordinary.
